James Coe Although I am perhaps best known for my bird illustrations, I have, during the past several years become a dedicated (some might say obsessed) landscape painter. All through the year, I haul my oil paints and easel out into the field where I attempt to capture the glowing light and exqusite scenery of New York's Hudson Valley and Northern Catskill region.
